Jory Vinikour performed a highly diverse, technically demanding, and beautifully executed program at Weill Hall on Thursday, December 10. Jory's outstanding musicality, virtuosity, and deep connection with his instrument was evident in each piece he played.
We would single out his four Domenico Scarlatti Sonatas (K535, K534, K120 & K119) and John Bull's "The King's Hunt" as special highlights. His Rameau Suite in A Minor was all that could be expected given his Grammy nominated recording of Rameau's keyboard works. The audience was rapt and the unrelenting applause following the program garnered three encores.
Jory comes to Aberfoyle Baroque in Washington DC at the end of January to perform an evening Soirée and a Concert. Don't miss this opportunity to hear this incredible harpsichorist.
