Aberfoyle Baroque offers Baroque Dance Workshop

Aberfoyle Baroque offers its first Baroque Dance Workshop on April 29.  Aimed at beginners, this workshop will feature accomplished Baroque dancer Elena Mullins as instructor.  Elena will guide participants through a choreographed dance to Jean-Baptiste Lully's Bourrée d'Achille.

Anyone wishing to receive mailings of future Baroque Dance workshops hosted by Aberfoyle Baroque should email us at and write "Baroque Dance" in the subject header.

Elena Mullins is an avid performer and teacher of baroque dance, as well as a soprano specializing in early repertoires. She performs with ensembles such as Apollo’s Fire, the Newberry Consort, and Three Notch’d Road. Elena earned a DMA in historical performance practice at Case Western Reserve University, where she studied voice with Ellen Hargis and baroque dance with Julie Andrijeski.

Jean Cioffi has kindly agreed to provide dance accompaniment on the harpsichord.
